Learning communication skills helps young people navigate their world and prepare for workforce, civic, and family roles they will assume as young adults. Public speaking promotes confidence, life skills, and subject knowledge, with benefits extending far into adulthood.
This week, our Creative Hands 4-H Club members practiced giving “small talks” on a given topic. This was great practice for our club members.
Over the next month, youth will choose a topic and develop a presentation for our 4-H presentation competition program.
