Moore County Sheriff Ronnie Fields announces the arrest of one individual following a search in the Eagle Springs area.
On February 22, 2023, Deputies with the Moore County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant in the 9800 block of NC Highway 705 in Eagle Springs. During the investigation, Deputies located cocaine, marijuana, buprenorphine, naloxone, items of drug paraphernalia, and items of marijuana paraphernalia. The search warrant was executed at the conclusion of a drug investigation.
Arrested:
August Mehre Shavers, 43, Eagle Springs, N. C.
Charges- Felony Possession of Cocaine, Maintaining a Vehicle/Dwelling Place for Controlled Substances, Simple Possession of Schedule III Controlled Substance, Simple Possession of Schedule VI Controlled Substance, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Possession of Marijuana Paraphernalia.
Bond: $5,000.00 Secured
