What a great way to start off a Monday- meeting new friends as we kicked off another session of Go, Glow, Grow – this time at Trinity Preschool in Troy. In order to be healthy and strong, children, youth and adults all need to eat a variety of foods from all the different food groups. Half of our plates should be filled with fruits and veggies, and we should drink water as often as possible. We had a special youth volunteer assist us with our program today, and the kids seemed to enjoy learning all about how eating nutritious foods helps make us healthy and strong. We are super excited to continue this program for the next five weeks!
