This week at Save the Children Candor Head Start, we learned about “Glow” foods – all those yummy fruits and vegetables that give us shiny hair and sparkly eyes!  Deeply colored fruits and veggies provide a wide range of nutrients.  It is important to include a colorful variety when planning meals and snacks for kids. After we read our story, we played a memory game and then taste tested some yummy Glitter Grapes.  Parent newsletters are being sent home each week with even more tips and ideas for encouraging nutrition at home.
