The Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) issued a three-year reaccreditation for Pinehurst Surgical Clinic in North Carolina for its safety and care standards displayed over the years.
“With patient safety, quality care and surgical excellence as our primary focus to patient care, achieving AAAHC’s accreditation demonstrates that Pinehurst Surgical Clinic is in a constant state of readiness for our patients’ healthcare needs" Charles Gregg, CEO of Pinehurst Surgical Clinic, told the Courier-Tribune. "This achievement was possible through a team of healthcare professionals led by Leslie Laws, COO, and Tiara Dennison, quality manager."
The AAAHC conducts in-person assessments and onsite surveys to determine which health care facilities demonstrate the best practices of constantly improving care and services, according to the Courier-Tribune. The AAAHC accredits many facilities, which include ambulatory surgery centers, office-based surgery centers and clinic health centers, the Courier-Tribune reported.
