Moore County Schools issued the following announcement on July 21.
Governor Cooper issued new guidance related to COVID-19 protocols in schools, including masks, during the 2021-2022 school year.
Moore County Schools staff will study the Governor's updated guidance and the Moore County Board of Education will discuss this information during their August 2 work session and August 9 regular business meeting. Moore County Schools will communicate with all families once a decision has been made for how our schools will proceed with COVID-19 related protocols, including masking, for the start of the school year.
