Sandhills Community College issued the following announcement on Oct. 16.
Basic Law Enforcement Training classes begin Jan. 10! This class will be the first to use the new state-of-the-art simulator, VirTra. This will help students prepare for real-life incidents.
Classes will take place Mondays through Fridays from 6-11 p.m., and during the day on alternating Saturdays. Applicants should submit their application by the end of October or the first week of November. Call 910-693-2667 for more information.
