District-level Business Advisory Council (BAC) held its final meeting of this school year at Union Pines High School.
BAC consists of education, business, industry and community representatives who help advise the district on workforce trends, and how the district can prepare students with the skills and qualifications to support the needs of local employers. Those attending included representatives from Pinehurst Surgical, Sandhills Community College, Partners in Progress, the Moore County Chamber of Commerce, Fidelity Bank, Caddell Plumbing and Vass Hardware.
Lunch was catered by Union Pines culinary students and a tour of CTE facilities followed the lunch.
