The Transportation Department is currently working on developing routes for bus riders for the 2022-23 school year. For students who attended and rode a school bus last year, parents are asked to login into the Parent Portal on PowerSchool between July 18 through 24 to confirm your child has been assigned a bus route for the 202223 school year. Please check the Parent Portal on PowerSchool via the PowerSchool website, not the PowerSchool app. If your child has not been assigned a bus route or you believe the bus route assigned to your child is in error, please complete the Request for Transportation form found on www.ncmcs.org under "Announcements." PowerSchool/Parent Portal will not reflect any transportation data between July 25 through August 11 as we will be processing additional assignments for transportation and making any necessary adjustments to routing/stops as needed. On August 12, parents can check their child's bus assignment and pickup and dropoff times on the PowerSchool Parent Portal. Requests for transportation made after August 2 should be made directly in PowerSchool or through your child's school data manager. Requests for transportation made after August 2 cannot be guaranteed to have a bus assignment for the first day of school. Parents who need assistance with Parent Portal should reach out to their child's school data manager.
