As my time serving as your Chief of Police comes to an end, I would like to offer a sincere and heartfelt THANK YOU to the citizens of Mount Gilead for allowing me to serve as your Chief for the past seven years. It has indeed been an honor.
I would also like to thank the Mayor and the Town of Mount Gilead Board of Commissioners for allowing and entrusting me to serve in this capacity. Likewise, to the Town Manager and the entire Mount Gilead team, thank you for your continued support of our department as well.
There are so many good people in Mount Gilead. People who strongly believe in family, their neighbors, and service to their community. Steeped in local culture, diversity and small town values, Mount Gilead is a unique and wonderful community poised for great things. I have made so many friends while here and I will treasure their friendship forever.
Finally, to the current and former Police Officers I have had the privilege and honor to work with over the years, I want to say THANK YOU for your tireless dedication to the citizens we serve. I appreciate all the hard work and effort you guys have put into making Mount Gilead a better place. I am truly blessed to have worked beside you over the years. Please continue to be safe.
