Sheriff Fields would like to recognize deputies in their completion of Crisis Intervention Team (CIT) training.
This knowledge will be beneficial when encountering subjects with mental illness and help with de-escalating situations.
Attendees were also familiarized with local resources for those who suffer from drug addiction.
