Corridors of Opportunity on November 30, 2022

TBJ explores what’s next for Moore County – economic development, new housing, health care and transportation. This unique in-person panel discussion brings local businesses, government officials and local stakeholders together for an honest discussion about our economic pillars and what the future holds for the community.

Moore County for decades has been known as a hub for golfers and retirees. But now, the community is attracting the interest of thousands of new residents thanks in part to nearby Fort Bragg and its abundance of military families looking for a place to live. The county recently crossed the 100,000-population mark – and interest in Moore County isn’t slowing down. New residents and companies and continually moving to the area.

You won’t want to miss TBJ Greater Triangle Growth Reporter Evan Hoopfer and local experts weigh in on what’s next for the Sandhills.

Our panelists will be:

Travis Greene,  Owner of Legacy Construction & incoming President Moore County Home Builders Association

Carol Haney, Mayor of Southern Pines

Natalie Hawkins, Executive Director,  Moore County Partners in Progress

Jamie Ledford, President, Golf Pride

Moderator:   Evan Hoopfer, Reporter Triangle Business Journal
