Eating a variety of fruits and vegetables every single day is soooo important to health! One way to achieve our intake goals is to make sure we incorporate these healthier foods at gatherings and celebrations, instead of relying on more traditional sweet, calorie-dense (often less-healthy) foods. Yesterday, we practiced this at our Final Celebration with our LIFT group at Troy-Montgomery Senior Center. Participants brought healthy dishes and we enjoyed a time of fellowship and celebrating our successes.
