Today in 1836, Texans took their final stand after a 13-day siege known as the Battle of the Alamo. The fight for freedom would continue under Sam Houston’s Texan Army, and where the battle cry “Remember the Alamo!” came. On this 187th commemoration, let us remember their timeless resolve in the fight for freedom.
