On Sunday, Feb. 23, former The O’Neal School standout Jacob Bates’ current college team, the Barton Bulldogs, won 13-9 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Francis Marion Patriots.

The game took place at Sparrow Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Patriots this season.

The Bulldogs’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. at Nixon Field against Wingate Bulldogs.
