County of Montgomery issued the following announcement on Dec. 9.
The burn ban has been lifted for Montgomery County. The burn ban remains in effect for several western counties. If you plan to burn, please burn responsibly and check for local burning restrictions and make sure you have a valid permit. Check the weather, and never leave a debris fire unattended.
Burning permits may be obtained online or in-person from a county permit agent.
