The Montgomery County 4-H Livestock Club held their February meeting at John McInnis's Farm this morning. They learned about his Boer show goat operation and how John and his late wife have supported 4-H showmen for over 20 years. Thank you for hosting our group! John works with showmen to find a goat to fit their family's budget. If you have a youth interested in showing please reach out to livestock agent Tracy Blake at tracy_blake@ncsu.edu for more information. The next Livestock club meeting will be March 20th at the Ag Center in Troy. All youth interested in Livestock are invited to attend. No prior animal experience required!
